Speak to a Human Feature

CHIME offers a user-friendly feature at its self check-in kiosks labeled “I would like to speak to a human.” When patients select this option, staff members receive an immediate notification on their tablet, indicating that assistance is needed.

This functionality is particularly useful in various scenarios, such as when patients arrive to collect paperwork without a scheduled appointment or require guidance during the check-in process. The button is strategically positioned at multiple stages throughout the check-in experience. For instance (as pictured), if a patient is unable to locate their name on the list of scheduled appointments, they can easily request support from staff to facilitate their check-in. This feature enhances the overall patient experience by ensuring timely and accessible assistance.
