What is Virtual Orchestration?

Virtual Orchestration incorporates virtual phone and video appointments into the CHIME workflow so that CHIME knows what’s happening both inside and outside of the clinic.

Virtual patients check-in for their appointments, confirming that they're ready to be seen. They're given real time information, such as wait time, a warning if they have checked in late, or next steps if they can't be seen, just as they would if they were sitting in a clinic waiting room. This cuts down on the phone calls, missed appointments, and other small annoyances of virtual care.

Virtual patients are integrated into the in-clinic workflow in a way that allows MDs to see single or multiple virtual patients in the same room at their own pace. You no longer need to remember to set patient rooms to unavailable or put your name on the room. Chime will put the room into a special status that includes your name when you're seeing virtual patients.

Whether you're working from the clinic or at home, you will be able to request administrative help with patient tasks, such as rescheduling a late patient, via the chime dashboard — from wherever you're working.
