CHIME Colour Code Legend
This colour legend applies to ALL clinics using CHIME
For 1 step appointments
(i.e. only a single provider)
The striped area is the scheduled appointment time
If the patient is GREEN they're waiting, usually in the waiting room, and have not been roomed in an in-clinic room yet
If the patient is PINK (top image), they're ready and waiting in an in-clinic room for the provider (this could be for the nurse, doctor, or Medical Assistant/Runner)
If the appointment is BLUE (bottom image), the provider has checked in and is currently in the room seeing the patient
When the provider checks out on the room tablet, the appointment will disappear from their schedule
For 2 or more step appointments
(i.e. multiple providers)
Striped, Green, Pink & Blue are the same as above
If the appointment is ORANGE, the patient is with another Provider first
CHIME will indicate this with some text beside the appointment
When Provider 1 is finished (in this example, Dr. Evans) then the appointment will go into the PINK status for Provider 2 (in this example, the Nurse) and continue as above.
